Basic Emancipation Income. Period from 2007 to 2010. Difficulties in its management

Abstract

The Basic Income for Emancipation was one of the measures of social content that the Government of Spain presided by José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero approved to support the emancipation of young people, trying to facilitate their access to housing. In addition, the measure connected directly and immediately with the electoral commitment that, in broader terms referring to all the areas involved.


This article shows and explain the difficulties in implementing the measure as a consequence, fundamentally, of the intervention of the various and different actors involved.
