The Public action in urban planning under debate

Lorena Cruz González
Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the need to limit the exercise of the public action in the urban planning field, under the protection of the conviction of its tortious, abusive and almost professional use with private lucrative interests far removed from the general interest, and to configure it as the popular action foreseen in environmental matters.

To this end, a detailed analysis will be made of the regulation of these two figures, assessing the pros and cons of establishing each of them.
