Time control in local authorities: a sample in the Galician context

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the degree of compliance with the timetable by the staff providing services in local bodies in Galicia. To this end, the study is divided into two main sections. Firstly, the objectives are set out, outlining the theoretical framework that provides an overview of the human resources situation, particularly in local governance, followed by a description of the regulations governing the working day and the parameters established for the time control of local staff. The second section deals with the questionnaire sent to a representative and diverse number of local entities in Galicia, analysing the results sent by these entities.
