The replanation of the provincial question in Europe. Study of German, Spanish, Italian, Greek and French cases

Abstract

The successive economic crises through out the recent history of Europe and the attempts to rationalize the administration have made recurrent attempts to reform Public Administrations seeking efficiency and savings. Some of the solutions adopted and, which are analyzed in this study, were to reduce and merge administrations, deletion or impersonation by similar ones. Not all the experiences for there form of the Provinces have provied equally satisfactory, because in the Spanish case it was very timid and, in the Italian, even an absolute error.
