Settings of cultural heritage in 5/2016 Act and the Basic Regional Plan

In this work we’re analyzing the figure of the setting of cultural heritage, and more specifically applied to archaeological site. We take a tour of the figure the setting of cultural heritage to then analyze some troubles that we consider contradictory that emerge as a result of the approval of the PBA and the configuration of new setting of cultural heritage that deviate from what is established in the Law of the cultural heritage of Galicia and generate a loss on the effective protection of the heritage sites by not taking into account the complexity of those to be protected and the reality of the Galician archaeological heritage, resorting to the distance criterion to set its protection.
