The deficiencies of the geolocation tools of archaeological sites and their consequences on the protection of the cultural heritage of Galicia

Abstract

Some problems of the geolocation of archaeological sites are analyzed in relation to forest exploitation as a result of a series of regulatory changes. The launch of a corporate web portal for the processing of procedures related to forest exploitation highlights a series of dysfunctions in the classification of archaeological assets, the delimitation of affected areas, the location of archaeological sites and the quality of archaeological information.
