Abstract

Software robots are devices used to automate tasks and to interact with devices. In recent times, some software robots are using artificial intelligence to develop more complex tasks or to learn from experience to improve results. All this has several applications in public Administration.

In this paper, we analyse how public Administration automatization through software robots has an impact in e-government principles. As well, we study the regulation of public activity through robots and the limits stated by data protection regulation. Furthermore, we explain the impact that the use of software robots can have in public employment. Finally, we identify the different procedures used by public Administration to add software robots.
